Sales Of Golden Carpet have increased in the UK during the 2015 season, with fantastic customer feedback!

The first plants have been shipped from Our North Wales Site to Holland, France and even Japan!

We were pleased to announce that Escallonia Golden Carpet won the “Highly Commended” award for hardy nursery stock at the Four Oaks Trade show on September 5th 2013

It is a sport of Red Carpet so had a good pedigree. Compact, bushy and very free branching, it makes a perfect low dome on a 2 or 3 litre pot. Planted out it will grow 50cm high by 120cm wide. It has bright golden yellow foliage all Summer, turning lime in Autumn. Small red flowers are borne in mid-late Summer, making a nice contrast.

Golden Carpet is the first variety that we have put through in our Peat Free growing media supplied by Melcourt, who also won best in category for their Peat Free propagation media!!

We have good stocks of plugs and liners available for immediate delivery or Spring 2015 reserve.

Golden Carpet has recently been rated a 5 Star product by Which? Gardening, where it proved to be a reliable plant with different characteristics.

Golden Carpet even has its own Facebook Page

So if you grow it you can "Like" it!
