Physocarpus opulifolius Chameleon
I have mentioned Physocarpus in a previous blog. Since then, “Midnight” has become a top seller both in The UK and Europe.
Physocarpus are still very popular in Garden Centres and there are many similar forms on the market so it was a treat to find “Chameleon” which is a real colour break.
The foliage in spring has a warm wine red glow in the centre with irregular yellow variegated margins. As the season progresses the Red centre turns purple.
Chameleon has a compact bushy habit which, together with its amazing coloured foliage, makes an ideal plant on any sales area.
In the garden situation it will grow around 1 metre high and same diameter.
The first plants ready and available for dispatch from late May 2013 to both Retailers and Wholesale growers, priced at £1.20 each
(£24.00 per tray of 20) inclusive of royalty & colour label.
