Doodia Rough Ruby

Possibly a hybrid between Doodia aspera and Doodia media, this relatively small fern (25 – 30cms) forms thick clumps of pinnate fronds that are very rough to the touch.  Its highpoint is its young growth, which emerges a glorious maroon.
